We did book the superior room, but we were surprised how roomy it was. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was not classy, but it was clean and had everything we wanted. Room 16 was also very quiet. We liked the design of the complex with each room opening out to a central atrium. There was also plenty of parking, much of it covered. The room was good value and the location was half-way between Hobart Central and Wrest Point Casino. We were also walking distance from Battery Point a historic area. Our next visit to Hobart we would stay there again.

We stayed here in Dec 2023 and this is our second stay. We love everything about this property. Spacious room and bathroom. This time, we were assigned a corner room and it had all the peace and privacy we needed. We slept so well! We used the washer and dryer located next to the reception for a small fee. So convenient! Ample parking lots and food options. Staff we met were all so friendly and kind. Highly recommended!

Nice, cozy place and modern facilities for the deluxe room. Stafff Liz Sumner was very friendly and guided us well for the tour. There are lot of eateries and cafe's that are easily accessible on The Sandy Bay"s road. The walk to the Salamanca market or to the wharf was around 20 mins. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Hobart and stay at The Mayfair Plaza!

Staff were lovely and very helpful - we ended up arriving much later than anticipated and they organised a late check in for us and made the whole process painless. The room was as expected and very clean. Love the indoor plants, and plenty of food options locally. No complaints from us :)

We stayed in room 23 at the end of November 2024. The room might have been recently renovated as it was spotless and everything was like new. Bed was comfy, shower was hot, kitchen was well appointed and there was plenty of natural light. The room was pretty quiet considering it's proximately to the Mayfair pub. The Hotel is super handy to everything, so no need to drive anywhere. Wi-Fi was good too.

All the staff we come across very friendly. Good size room Great location, coles next door and woolworths acroos the road, four places to eat within the complex and more within walking distance. Ten minute walk to the markets. Would stay again.

Property had a large, covered parking garage shared with a few local businesses. Self check-in was incredibly easy and efficient. Room was spacious and came with a couch, table and chairs, plus basic kitchen supplies. There are also many shops and restaurants nearby the hotel.

Liz, the manager, was amazing - Liz makes this a 10/10 stay!! She was awesome. She helped advise us on everything we wanted to do - events, museums, laundry, dentists (!), tours and onward travel. The apartment/room was large, clean and had exactly what we needed. The location on Sandy Bay Road was close to bars, restaurants, public transport, Woolworths, coastal walk and close enough to walk into the centre of Hobart - 15 minutes.

Fabulously clean, quiet, spacious and well appointed room in terrific location within minutes walk to multiple restaurants and a short drive into city , on-site free parking, Liz was a terrific hostess, plus onsite guest laundry. Right in a shopping district, supermarket, pharmacy and amenities just around the corner.
